Can I change my details after registering for the challenge?
To update your details, log in, and go to your participant profile to edit or change your details.
How many members are allowed to participate?
In this challenge, only one member should apply and will act as the representative for the company in question.
How can I participate?
You can sign up at https://sg-sia.agorize.com and make sure to confirm your email address. Don’t forget to click "Participate" in order to receive announcements and notifications about the Challenge.
Do I get any updates about the challenge?
Whenever there is an update, you will receive an email notification from the admin to your registered email address. This is only applicable to participants of the challenge.
You can always use the messaging feature and reach out to your challenge admin.
What is the eligibility criteria?
We are looking for innovative solutions that are also practical and scalable. All organisations with a minimum viable product (MVP) and with their own technology or solutions that fit the categories of this challenge can participate. It is also important for the organisation to be able to distribute the solution in France.
APPLICATION PHASE
Do I need to submit anything for the deepening phase?
The pre-selected organisations will have to submit a complete file specifying the operationalisation of the proposed solution including
- The business model (economic model, remuneration method, average price)
- Capacity in terms of production volume and geographical coverage
- Production details (composition and origin of materials, suppliers, logistics). This file can be completed by the LCA of your product.
You can also add :
- A demonstration video of your solution can also be added if you wish.
- If you have declared that you have obtained a certification or label, take advantage of this stage to submit the supporting documents.
How can I prepare for the final pitch?
You will have to prepare a 10-minutes pitch in English, so please make sure to have your slides ready for the final. There will also be a 10-minutes question and answer session, for which you can prepare by anticipating the questions that might be asked by the jury.
What do I need to submit for the Application Phase?
For the Application Phase, you must submit a proposal of 5 slides, including but not limited to:
- Brief presentation of your company, client references, and geographical location
- Presentation of your solution related to the category
- Introduction to the specifics of your product (origin, composition)
- Outline of your implementation plan
Your proposal must be written in English or French.
How do I know if my startup is shortlisted?
The results announcement for the shortlisted startups will be made on June 12, 2023. The announcement will be made via the platform announcement.
What is the deadline to apply?
The deadline of the application is May 28, 2023, at 23h55 GMT+1.
Will I be contacted by members of the sourcing division ?
Once you have been pre-selected for the depending phase, you may be contacted by the organizing team to collect additional information about your application.
How do I know if my startup is selected for the final event?
The startups that make it to the final round will be announced no later than July 11, 2023. The announcement will be made via the platform announcement.
